When producing key components such as cooling staves, chequer supports, and Wear plate , we follow one principle: Let the casting process serve the design — not the other way around.

This is why we’ve integrated Sand Casting、Lost Foam Casting and Coated Sand Casting into our production — each optimized for a different challenge.

1. Sand Casting
Best for large and robust components like chequer supports or base structures:
    Low cost, fast turnaround
    Flexible mold setup for multi-variant production
    Mature process — ideal for raw blanks or pre-machining stock

2. Lost Foam Casting
For large, complex structures like integrated cooling walls or asymmetric hollow sections, Lost Foam shines:
    No parting lines or cores — enables single-piece hollow casting
    Excellent for complex cooling channel designs
    Low pattern cost — flexible for multi-variant, mid-volume production
    Simplifies fabrication — reduces welds and assembly errors
Lost Foam helps us move from “castable geometry” to optimal design freedom.

3. Coated Sand Casting
For medium-sized, precision parts like furnace grates, connecting plates, and frame elements, we rely on this method for:
    High dimensional accuracy — critical for sealing and fitment
    Smooth surface finish — minimizing post-machining
    Durable patterns — cost-effective for repeated batches
    Good resistance to hot cracking — suitable for thin-walled and ribbed parts
A great solution for high-repeat, geometry-sensitive components.

We don’t choose a process — we select the best-fit process based on part design, thermal behavior, batch size, and downstream needs.
