Tianyu elliptical tube cooling stave was once again used in batches in domestic blast furnaces

The project is located in Jiangsu Province, with a blast furnace capacity of 1350m³. The cooling staves of sections 9-10 of the blast furnace were originally designed as cast steel staves. During the overhaul of the blast furnace, the customer put forward the optimization requirements for the cooling stave of the blast furnace.

After in-depth communication with Tianyu’s technical staff, Tianyu’s patented product: oval tube cast iron cooling stave was adopted.

The elliptical tube cooling stave has the following advantages:

1. Increase the heat exchange area ratio of the cooling stave;

2. Under the condition that the cooling water flow rate remains unchanged, the cooling water consumption can be reduced;

3. The thickness of the cooling stave can be reduced to reduce the weight of the cooling stave;

4. The opening of the furnace shell remains unchanged, and the installation accessories remain unchanged.

This project is Tianyu's patented elliptical tube cooling stave once again applied in batches to domestic blast furnaces.

With the cooperation of all Tianyu people, the project was successfully delivered. And it has been fully affirmed by customers, and the installation has been successfully completed.
